I have been following this forum from the start, and it looks like the Chevy trucks are taking over I too plan on painting my 1970 GMC pickup the roller way since the cost of restoration will leave me with no money for a bought paint job. I plan on painting the individual parts before reassembly and possibly a final coat and wetsand after it is put back together to even out any missmatched panels.The real challenge may be the painting of the interior and dash. I may try the HVLP gun and rustoleum for that.
