My harbor freight hand punch arrived today. after replacing a cheap set screw with a real one, it works fine but is HARD to do. I have it mounted in a vise and use a pipe over the handle to pull down, this is making 3/16" punch from 16 gauge sheetmetal.

The chads it spits out fall into a cup I've put there, and all the chads will need is a few strikes with the hammer to flatten them out and they should work fine. I've already made about 10, so I have a ways to go with that thing. I hope it survives.
