I just tried scratching real hard a couple times on a spot with my thumb on black tremclad with regular mineral spirits on my test panel with only 2 overdiluted coats over it. It did leave markings but only noticeable at an angle. I'd imagine if it was polished and everything you could easily buff it away. That section had 24 hours of dry time.
