Finally got started on the dart paint tonight. The bodywork turned out good! Nothing horribly wrong with it, but there were some long dents here and there (like down the passenger 1/4 panel) and lots of small dings. The color is Rustoleum Pro "safety red". This first coat went on nice and smooth, I saw a run or two develop but just rolled over it a few times. Also saw a few specs of crap in the paint which I just pulled off the surface then rolled over.

It's thin and partially transparent at this point after only 1 coat.

It took me quite awhile, 1.5 hours. I had to re-thin the paint part of the way through. I think now that I have the hang of it I should be able to do future coats in less time.

Here's a couple of pics..

Looks awesome, thats the color i bought for my duster. Its hard to see but how is the actual paint laying out. Is it going down flat? is it a little peely? can you somewhat describe how it looks, from the pictures i've taken of mine it looks better than it really is in the pictures.

Thanks!
