Here's how far ive gotten. I've decided to try and tackle the hood in gloss black professional. First coat i think was a littl thick, got some bubbles and it looked peely. Sanded it with dry 600grit to tear into it some. Did another coat much thinner (thinned with mineral spirits) and here's how ive gotten it. Next coat ill do thinner hoping for a little flatter paint. So its one coat that got scrubbed up good, with another on top of it..this looking normal for only say a coat and a half?
