Yes, when I look at it head on I can see those tiny scratches you talk about. Perhaps I'll get my roller off the place I hung it up from.

I'll try this tonight if I can get my hands on those fine compounds you talk about. I assume this stuff could be applied by hand, right? I might want to try it by hand on this small area to see if it works, then if I need to do a large surface I can practice with the random orbital machine.
