I've been giving it a day between coats. That's most convenient too, because I dont want to spend 1.5 hours in the morning painting it before I go to work, so I've been painting in the evenings. Similarly, I'll sand in the evening when the last coat was put on a day before, so roughly 24 hours between coats or after a coat and before sanding..
