You bet, just did this on past weekend.It would have turned out even better,if I had more experience with wet sanding, an electric buffer unit and having the surface prepped better to begin with. The dash was pretty rusted/pitted and all I relly did was sand it with 80 and 150 grit and started painting. I am probably going to do my 1948 Coupe using this method, if it doesn't turn out I can always have it painted over by a pro..............C38coupe
