This is a very interesting thread. I painted my Jeep CJ5 with the Rustoleum paint but thinned it and sprayed it on-red by the way and it looks great. It sits outside and is holding up well to rain, frost, and snow. I just could't see spending $$$s on a vehicle used off road It took about 1 1/2 Qts. to do the jeep and a gallon of thinner. It ended up about $30 total and people think it looks good. I have good adhesion to the paint underneath. I only spray canned primer on the bare metal spots. It looked so good I did my BroncoII in Sept. with Rustoleum enamel and it's holding up good in the winter weather too1. Get the gloss by the way.
