I was told to do this on my 46 ford frame by an "old timer". I already have a gallon of black. I think I'll try it on my 54 chevrolet truck fenders. It's a truck you know so I don't care how that much how it turns out.

Can you go right over the paint after some sanding and prep or do you need to go to metal and "bondo"?
