Hey guys,
I wondered over here from the samba (VW site). I'm building a fiberglass dune buggy which I'd like a cheap, durable, easily repairable paint job on, and this sure looks promising.

I tried the "Walmart" Rustoleum on a piece of scrap steel I got from work. I roughed the surface and did the 2 coats/wetsand process 3 times. The paint looked great and laid down nice, but like Exit1965 experienced, it didn't pass the fingernail test. I'm curious to see the results you guys get with the "industrial" kind. BTW, great thread!
