White paint. Two or three coats.
White pigment gives the best, most solid cover and should give you a solid base.
Or if you want something that looks like primer, use their "smoke grey" which looks just like primer color despite the darker color on the label. If you put that on then rough the surface it will appear to be primer. Or just leave it glossy and grey, like a polished primer look..
