I have heard that from lowe's too. Keep in mind you can tint to your hearts content by mixing the paint colors yourself. e.g get some red, add a bit of yellow and get a reddish orange. obviously if I was going to do a whole car i'd start with a gallon of the base color so I could use the same mix on the car.
