About half of residents in a long-term care skilled nursing facility in Washington state had no symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus infection when they initially tested positive, researchers found.
Following a positive test in a healthcare worker, facility-wide symptom assessments and testing for 76 residents found that 23 were positive for COVID-19, and 13 of these residents were asymptomatic.
