based on the above two photos, the front valance on 70 Challengers must have been installed AFTER the fenders got there coating of sound deadener sprayed on, where-as on 71 Cudas the front bumper and valance were in place because the front signal light housing was almost always covered to some degree.
The differences could be endless.
Alan, Any info you have on this would be greatly appreciated. We found what appeared to be some light road tar on the valance but could have been mistaken as to whether it was a very light overspray of undercoat. Anyone else have any documentation on Challenger front valances?
