Full Metal, I finally did catch up with Hemmings
article on NYC Street racing. That was the race
that I was refering to, but they may have ran
on the eastbound (new constuction at the time)
Nassau Expressway just east of the Van Wyck North
Spur (from airport). The roadway was separated
from traffic by jersey barriers for a while.
However, I still didn't find out the outcome of
the run.
