My thinking as well, Rick. However, I'm sure Dan did a nice job sealing up the intake, and I don't feel like ripping it off the engine, not at this time anyway. I've got bigger fish to fry in this build. The intake will stay, but I may paint the valve covers a color that resembles natural cast aluminum and call it good.
