I just purchased a 1989 Jeep Wrangler S. It was a NY vehicle, so its got rust issues, but nothing a mig welder and a plasma cutter can't handle. I'm going to do a body off restoration, give it a 5" lift, 35" tires, beefier axles, and replace the 2.5 lter 5 speed with a mild 318 and automatic. That's the basic plan at this point. Jeeps and 4x4's are totally new to me, so I've got lots to learn.
