Rick, I thought about shooting a satin clear on the intake, but I'm worried that it will eventually turn yellow from the heat. I've searched the internet to find a clear that has positive reviews about not turning yellow and being fuel resistant, and I haven't found one yet. So for now, I'm going to leave the intake as is.
As for the valve covers, I might spray them the hemi orange and sand down the tops of the ribs and lettering to the bare aluminum. Like this...
