Why is everyone so sold on the Bilsteins? I am at the point with the axle swap where I have to get new ones and I would be curious how you came to your decision on brand and then of course model. I don't really have an opinion or knowledge on the subject.

There's no denying it, Bilstein has a great reputation for building high quality, high performance shocks. Read this, and you'll see why people choose Bilsteins. http://www.eshocks.com/bil_ORin.asp?Manf=All>

I've decided to go with 5165's in the front, and 5125's for the rear. I figure with the all iron V8 up front, the front shocks will get more of a workout, so I opted for the 5165 reservoir shocks. The rear won't see as much weight, (and to save a little money) I went with the 5125's. Since I need longer than stock length shocks, both were a good choice, since they come in custom lengths.
