Jamie, Can you speak to performance of the new 5 speed in your various testing? I'm still interested in one, as well.
My conserns are Power shifting and doing it at higher rpms. Really pounding the crap out of it. I regularly let the clutch out at 6K at the track. I also drive my car all over the place in slow traffic and rural roads. I truely drive my car street and strip.
Has any of your testing involved drag strip testing yet? What types of cars / power levels have your transmissions been testing in?
I've gone from 23 spline trans and having some inconsistent problems power shifting at 6400rpm or so. Now I have an 18 spline and different clutch setup. Hoping to be able to keep that Right foot on the floor and never lift between shifts up high too. So far, I think that my new setup will be fine.
But I'd love to hear you speak on some performance testing of the new trans!
