Going on a year now I had Jamie go through my transmission, as there was a recurring issue I couldn't find. Shipped it back, and the tail section was protruding out the back of the wooden case about 2 inches. Secured in place by two 2X4's, which were both shattered width wise. Amazing what they did with this thing.

Broke the retainer clip housing in the tail section, so the output shaft was floating freely. Only transmission Jamie has ever lost in 20 years of shipping. Luckily UPS paid up, at least most of it.

So yes, I understand the metal crate!
