Never mind...I missed this in the article..."“The TKO installation required tunnel cutting in most ‘70-‘74 E and ‘71-‘74 B installations. The TKX is considerably smaller and has a more rounded case compared to TKO. This provides much needed room to avoid cutting the tunnel on these cars when paired with our case machining and rear offset shifter,” says Jeff Kauffman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
