Jamie, I actually did this with my 2000 Ram 2500 with a Cummins because I knew the dealer wasn't going to fix it right. Not only on the transmission but with parts of the fuel system , I became my own warranty station on those parts on a truck with less than 40k miles with a 100k MAX CARE warranty that I paid extra for ...

But it's good to see that parts will eventually become available .
