Compare to the cost of getting an 18 spline, getting it rebuilt, and this really isn't too bad for all new parts made where we value standards for many aspects of life and also take some pride in what we make. Or used to that is.
I concur. I think if there's a viable alternative to a Chinese product that is made in America at a higher cost, we should always, within our means, go w/the more expensive, American product.
We need to support our fellow Americans; we'll be all better off.
