I've used 50 Bob Brehm pictures in the story so far! His facebook page is a treasure trove of great Drag Week pics. I can't believe his trigger finger wasn't ready to fall off by the end of the trip.


Five sets into the all-run session, they had a car broken at half track, so we used the down time to push the Belvedere across the front of the tower, and back into the pits. The traffic was more difficult to navigate than before because all the ricers had moved in and were preparing for their opportunity to drift into a concrete barrier at high speed. From the looks of the cars most of them had brought out, it was more a matter of when, than if.
