The first car to light up the scoreboard was, of course, our very own Ray Meyers (sixpackgut , Moparts) and his satin black, gen 3 hemi powered, 67 Barracuda notch back, I'm pretty sure he was the first through tech also. I don't know if he's paying off officials, or if it's the rented muscle he brought this year in the form of Drag Week veteran Zac Ravencraft, but it seemed like he was first in line all week long! His 10.08-134 kicked off Hot Rod Drag Week 2015 in fine style. Three sets of cars later, an eight second fox body tossed it's factory windshield all over the 1000' line, and we had our first down time of the event. I'm pretty sure Ray had turned in his time slip, and was motoring towards Indy before the glass was cleaned off the track!
