We drove into the beautiful little town of Attica Indiana (population 3100), nestled between the Harrison Hills Golf and Country Club, and the Wabash River, for our first checkpoint of the drive. The Drag Week planning staff has always been partial to buildings with murals on them, especially if they have somewhat roomy parking lots, and this one was no different. We rolled up around 6:15pm, but somewhat surprisingly, the NAPA store across the street, and the Tire and Auto store whose parking lot we were using, had already rolled up their sidewalks and went home!
