We were all enjoying the shade provided by the buildings in the fading sun, planning our next move, when the relative peace was interrupted with the staccato exhaust note of very big, very nervous BBC in the engine bay of Michael Wenzler's nitroused gen 3 Camaro. They had removed the hood scoop, the lexan side windows, and the lexan grille blocker for the drive, and it gave the mid seven second car a dicarded eighties Pro Stocker look.

I used the distraction to get the jump on everyone, and Aaron and I jumped back on US-41, crossed over the Wabash river, and headed out of town.
