I found this site a couple nights ago. This thread is great, but I have been staying up much too late reading it! I finally reached the end! I have little to offer except that I do know that the silver Puerto Rico bird came to the states in the 80's(early 90's??). My Dad was on vacation when it drove by with a sign in the window that said "se vende" or something like that. He stopped the driver and bought the car. It was a Blue 4spd car Vin #RM23UOA174571. The car ran, and we did drive it around a bit. It was ugly! My Dad gave it to my brother who hired a novice bodyman to restore the car. The last I saw of the car it had the whole rear section(quarters, truck, ect)cut off to be replaced with donor parts. I do not know if this work was ever finished or where this car is now.....any ideas??
