Thanks a ton for posting those pics for me John. The steering wheel on that bird, is off of a car that was up in Michigan back in 1981. however the back of the picture only says that, "superbird, Michigan" then its dated 10/81. I'll have to look and see but i know that I have quite a few more pics of the Daytona SE that was in Illinois the A4 one that is. I always loved that car, as i always liked the silver cars. I remember going to look at it when it was for sale, and my dad passed on the car to buy another Superbird instead. Man i wanted the silver Daytona not the Yellow 6 pac 4 speed bird, but oh well. I was only 7 then. A side note here, I was only 3 might have just turned 4 years old in 1982 depending on when in the year the meet was.
On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.
