Joe Fisher drove the 440 flat hood Bird for S&M and Herb McCnadless drove the Hemi with six pack hooded Bird for S&M. I had the same pics you mentioned of the Birds in the S&M shop and this one other pic that I have posted here. This pic may actually already be buried somewhere deep withing this unending thread!

Man, that's an awful lot of wings in such a small area. That just goes to show that they're still out there. That's sad about the one with the Vietnam story. I wonder what kind of condition it's in after all these years.

Sounds cool on the Puerto Rican Birds. Them are probably a sight to see down there! I never heard of the Neeley Daytona but would like to learn more about it.

Keep up the good work with those old drag cars. I've always been into old drag racing history. Heck, why else would I take a perfectly good, original Superbird and make it into a drag car!
