Like many others here I tried to buy a cam from Hughes and couldn't get past the attitude. I don't give many second chances and he didn't get one.

One thing I can't quite understand is why he is so against "amatures". I can't remember ever seeing one of his engines or cams in a true professional race car of any class. I suspect that several of the people involved with the EM project have more experience with professional racing engines than Hughes has. His stuff is made for bracket racers and street cars. So he doesn't sell to pros and he doesn't like to sell to amatures. Who does that leave for potential customers?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
