I've ran the last two Drag Weeks without a speedometer, just running with the traffic around me, and watching engine rpm...but I'm sure my converter is tighter than yours! I have had a couple of situations where I'm running down a 2 lane at 55-60, and come into one of those little one stoplight towns where the speed limits goes 45,40,35 and the local cop is sitting by the 35 sign, and you're sweating it thinking, "I hope I slowed up enough, I THINK that's probably 35!"
