I stopped at the Noble O'Reilly's, and picked up some trans fluid, I hadn't taken the time to find where it was leaking, but the driveshaft, floor pan, ladder bars, and rear end were in no danger of rusting any time soon! As I made my into Thunder Valley Raceway Park, I noticed all the Daily Driver cars were in the lanes, so I knew it was time to switch sessions from the class cars to them, so I wasn't going to be able to run until the open session at Noon. That actually relaxed me a bit, since I didn't have to rush around to get the car ready. I chose a pit spot close to the Falcon wagon that I was apparently very close to for fourth in my class, as I had no idea where Robert and John were pitted.
I backed in, shut off the car, and slowly started to unload the trunk. John Sr. walked up and started helping me , "Well, one of you made it, where's the rest of the clan?"
"Scattered between here and Ponca City, I suppose", I smiled, "it's going to be close for a few of them!"
