I'm sure more than a few read this entire story and thought, "hey what about the Aussie Twin Turbo Charger?"
In John's three years of attendance, I doubt anyone would say they've ever had good luck on Drag Week. Despite jackknifing the trailer into the quarterpanel on a rain slicked highway, going through Powerglides like underwear, and all the rest of their mis-adventures, they were able to make the whole trip both times. 2014 was the worst luck by far, they torched the head and block just three days before the event started, and were unable to get it back together in time to start the event. Hot Rod graciously allowed them to make exhibition runs at Thunder Valley, Great Bend, and Tulsa once they got it back running, but officially they'd be scored as a no-show!
