After Dale's string of 9.14-9.12-9.08 during the shootout, the itch to get an Eight was more than he could stand. So he had James weld up the front end, rebuilt the powerglide, and bolted on the taller 33 X 10.5 slicks, drove to the track, ran his first eight, and drove home(and got his tail handed to him in the process)!
