To explain how a tight rivalry can up the stakes at Drag Week, I have to go back to DW13. Randy ran his AAR appearing, but big block powered 70 Barracuda in the shark tank that is Super Street Power Adder in Drag Week 2012, and finished a distant 6th, two seconds back from the hitters!

So, in 2013, he abandoned the N20, and ran in Street Race Big Block Normally Aspirated.
After the smoke cleared on the first day, his 10.77-124.64 left him in third place, two tenths behind a black 65 GTO, and 15 hundredths up on a 70 Buick's 10.93-119.93.
The next day in Indy, the GTO stretched him by three tenths, but his 10.868-123.21 was only a thou up on the Buick's 10.869-120.62.
Wednesday, at St. Louis, The Barracuda's 10.884-123.97, gave up time to the Buick's 10.878-121.08. Ok, he had Randy's attention, so he walked around the blue 70, noticing the GS and Stage-1 badges prominently displayed.
