Not sure why Charley and the Challenger fell off so much on Friday? Perhaps ole "Fratzog" can enlighten us!

In Memphis, it would not shift, so I adjusted the clutch up to make one last pass before they closed the stageing lanes, drove right through the clutch when I left the line. I thought I had adjusted it up to much (but it shifted well) any way, I backed the adjustment off a bit, loaded up and headed to bowling green. At bowling green I really tried to ease it down so I could a least finish, and I did, to the 13.627-105.39. I then called it a day and put it on the trailer, just completly elated that I acutally finished my first dragweek. Got home, and a week later pulled the 440 out and begain the plans for a 505 (in progress). When I pulled the scattersheild off, I was startled to find one of my pressure plate bolts had broke! and it went all over the place in the can, little dents everywhere! I begain wondering about the quality of the bolts I was useing, when I realized I had been using those same bolts for probably 20 years (through all the different clutches and combinations that have been in the car) and on top of that they probably came from a parts car! so no telling how old they are! to sum it up, I ordered a new set from Brewers, so maybe I won't loose a clutch next year.
