I am very interested in how you guys with the custom brakes were able to balance front/rear bias in the system with the large rotors and calipers.

I have a 56 Dodge that I am converting to 4 wheel disc using the following:

FRONT Front Rotors: 12" Dia. x 1.25 wide (from 74-81 dodge 1/2 ton 4WD PU)
Front Calipers: Single Piston 2.94 bore (74.76mm) (from 72- 78 Suburban, 71-76 Electra, Bonneville, Caprice)

REAR SSBC KIT
Rear Rotors 11" Dia
Rear Calipers: Single Piston 1.7 in bore (45mm) (from a 87-88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe)

Based on my calculations I come up with a car that is very Front Biased at about 70/30. Even if I go down to a smaller 11" front rotor it is only slightly better at 75/25.

Im just wondering how you were able to get an adequate balance using such large brakes.

Thanks.
