They were made for the car actually...they are a one-off casting to fit the brake setup he has.
The wheels I use were designed for road racing Porsches originally, and the style of outer they use has a special narrow drop area to give more caliper clearance actually. I could still go slighter larger in diameter with the rotor even and still have room. And even though the 4 piston Brembo are plenty I would say...if the situation does come up and fall upon some 8 piston AMG calipers..I'll just whitte up some new brackets and go with them.
