The Barnyard Viper's ET average was 7 hundredths slower than last year, which left Boone pretty upset, despite the fact that he picked up another third place plaque. The big truck ran three of it's fastest MPHs recorded on Drag Week, due to the converter change, but the tight torque convertor and a few changes in the rear suspension slowed 60ft. and cost him ET.
