Donny, Tech is only good for "that day". How old is the date stamp on that photo? 5 years? Back then the car ran a 11.55 and this go round it went 11.25 in three thousand feet of air. His car got just a little stocker right Donny.

He is in a position where he should lead by example, be held to a higher standard. I don't have first hand knowledge of this but it has been brought to my attention he already had the valve covers off while they were teching the cars. Now at that point C'mon. He had to know it was a bad idea to not tech but he still refused despite Daves attempt to influence him to do so.

I look at it this way Donny, the three hemis WERE teched and what can you say about them? Rick went a .39 and passed tech. Terry can't say that, to me that .25 is just a number with nothing to stand on. I say so what.

You know why NHRA techs your car after you set a record Donny?

So, basically, any time, any where, anyone is asked to tech, Terry and Dave should submit to a full tear down because they run the event ?

all for no prize money.......

and I agree that Dave and Terry should be held to a higher standard, but I think you are being unreasonable to demand he tear down everytime he leaves the house.

that's all

Dave has done it , i remember seeing the pictures of him pulling a head because people accused him of running a megablock.

Unless the engine is SEALED, and the seals are never broken, tech cert is only good for the one event.
