It's really too bad - it would have been cool to see it come out alive...
Yeah... so how's this for an idea:
Restore HALF the car, going lengthwise. Sure, it wouldn't run, but it would be pretty cool (I think) to have say, the driver's side completely restored while leaving the passenger's side as is -- interior, exterior, engine compartment, etc.
