My front crossmember is 3.5 inches off ground right now when the truck is deflated. When I add the 2" spindles it will be a huge help but I would really like to get all 3.5 inched out at once. It currently bottoms the pitman arm and idler arm onto the strut rod. and the upper balljoints are definatly hateing life that low.

Tell me if Im nuts here. Im thinking I can build a 2.5" Tall block to relocate the strut rod to the bottom of the control arm using longer bolts. And I can pie cut my upper control arms for better balljoint angle. hopefully with that and the dakota spindles I will be able to get it all the way onto ground. and stil run a 28" tall tire.

i too have thought about relocating the strut rod too the bottom, would just about put it back into its stock position. i think pie cutting the arms would be fine as long as you brace em well. would you do the lower arms too?
