First off, I really appreciate the info laid out here! I'm not trying to muddy the waters here but you refered to the 84 rotor as being one year only. After visiting O'Reillys and Autozones websites they show the 82 through 84 rotors as the same(Wagner BD60472). However they show that the inner bearing changed in 84 and continued after that. This might give guys who are sourcing used stuff a little more in the way of options by using the 82-84 rotor as long as they use the newer 84+ inner bearing.
