Quote: ramblebee/ funkyjbp- do either one of you happen to have a way to measure the clocking(deg.) of the caliper bracket mounting holes? it looks like the ebay dakota spindles (chassis tech) have the mounting holes rotated towards vertical compared to stock '72 up ram spindles which are @ 35 deg. from vertical. i assume chassis tech did this so the caliper would not interfere with the upper control arm. i would like to know this info for a little "expirement" i am working on. any info would be appreicated. -jeff
I know the Ram calipers are almost vertical when mounted on the Dakota spindle.Im not sure of the difference between the two but I could try and measure it for you.Now would be a good time to compare.One side is still stock on my truck.I mounted the wheel back on earlier,but Ill take a pic of the caliper position tomarrow.
