A picture of the suspension with a 96 dakota drop spindle and 2" lowering springs from Mid America Customs. We are going to relocate the outer tie rod end to the top of the spindle arm for better suspension geometry.

But if you put it in from the top, then you raise the tie rod and create bumpsteer---no?

I have the spindles on a 96 dakota (about 4 years now) and the tie rod ends are raised flat across and it has some pretty bad at, times bump steer. Most times it is liveable though. If i could find a way to lower the tie rod arms back down, i would in a second to cure the problem.

I have the same spindles sitting here waiting to go on my '85 d150. Unfortunatly, it also is going to need new everything else in the front suspension and i am in the middle of a engine build for it. But i will be installing these when i get the chance compliments of the awesome info in this thread.
