That's nice! It's SFI 25.5 spec. Just got ours ready and teched, it will be a real pleasure in such a small car as an A-body. We had the old 8.5+ mild steel cage, and updating that to the SFI 25.5 spec would have doubled the weight of the cage. We built a completely new cage out of chromo, and the weight is now about 20% more than that of the previous cage. Still have problems of getting below the maximum weigth of the SFI25.5 psec, 3600 lbs, but I think your cars are lighter than that. We actually have to compromise safety, use lighter brakes, no wheelie bars, no sway bars etc, to meet the weight of the safety regulatins. Doesnät make much sence to me. In my opinion, it would be wrong to mandate the SFI 25.5 spec cage in th SS/AH, kind of a punishment that you run so quick, since most never reach the 8.5 sec level. How are these things done in for example SS/AM cars, that are also capable for sub 8.5 sec ET's?
