no, there is no rule to enforce. I have said it before, and I will say it one more time. The 8.49 rule doesnt apply to us anymore than it applies to scott goves car that went 7.90 something in ss/am. the mod cars go faster than we do, and they have the same chassis rules we do. they have been in the low 8's for 5 years. I am not worried about it, and the only ones who are are ripoff chassis builders that want to update cars. my old jalopy will be just fine. later cw
